Requirements for part-time attendance

District 45 Board Policy 7:40, Nonpublic School Students, Including Parochial and Home-Schooled, outlines the requirements for part-time attendance in the District’s educational program. Requests for part-time attendance must be submitted to the building principal of the school in the school attendance area where the student resides. Please be advised that, according to the District Policy, requests for part-time attendance must be submitted to the building principal of the school in the school attendance area where the student resides. See a school boundary map. All requests for attendance in the following school year must be submitted before May 1st. Each request received by May 1st of the previous school year will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Requests for part-time attendance are subject to reasonable restrictions determined by the District.
