When you have a concern
There may be times during the school year when a parent or guardian needs to contact a District staff member with a concern. District 45 has established a clear communication pathway for a parent or guardian to follow in order to receive help with his or her concern. The starting point is to share the concern with a teacher. The teacher must respond to the parent or guardian within two days of the initial contact. The chart below shows the exact progression of steps in the District’s communication pathway that will lead to a successful resolution.
