On February 15, students from the Jackson Middle School multi-needs class, several peer buddies, and STARS students from Jefferson Middle School took a field trip to Sky Zone in Elmhurst. Students had an opportunity to slide down a mega launch slide, soar through the air on a zip line, and work on balance and coordination while getting in some extra physical activity.
“We’ve been talking about it for a long time,” said Jackson Middle School Multi-Needs Special Education Teacher Debbie Daly. “The kids are really excited. We’ve had a countdown on our board, counting the days until today.”
What a jumping good time!
