On May 18, students and staff at York Center celebrated another “Your Community Wednesday.” Students and staff were invited to wear their red York Center Lions t-shirts as part of the special day. This year at York Center Elementary, each early dismissal day was “Your Community Wednesday” and included a fun activity to help build up a sense of community at YC.
Some activities included writing thank you notes to bus drivers, and writing prompts where students shared “Why I love York Center …” and more.
