In fall 2025, the District 45 Board of Education began exploring ways to address a budget deficit and a shrinking financial cushion. The goal is to work with the community to identify preferred options that maintain strong educational impact and ensure long-term financial sustainability. With support from EOSullivan Consulting, the district has launched a community engagement process that includes surveys, public conversations, and other opportunities for input.
