On December 11, Jefferson Middle School hosted its Winter Concert, which featured the Wildcat Choir, Concert Choir, Concert Orchestra, and Concert Band. The students were directed by Choir Director Mr. Coronado, Orchestra Director Ms. Kayser, and Band Director Mrs. Wallbruch. The Wildcats performed for their fellow students during an all-school assembly earlier that day.
“All the students have put in an amazing effort, and I am incredibly proud of their growth over the past few weeks,” said Choir Director Mr. Zacharias Coronado. “Of course, it’s fantastic to see and hear how far these kids have come in the time they’ve been in choir, some for a few weeks and others each year they’ve attended Jefferson.”
Mr. Coronado added that the 6th grade was especially looking forward to their first performance as the Wildcat Choir, and the 7th and 8th grade were very excited to premiere the Frozen medley and other winter concert songs they have worked very hard on.
Thank you to all our Wildcats for a terrific performance. Special thanks to Mr. Coronado, Ms. Kayser, Mrs. Wallbruch, the District 45 Music Boosters, and all those who help support our talented students!
