On May 15, band and cheer teams from Jefferson and Jackson combined their talents and marched in the great tradition of The Lilac Parade. Wearing special Lilac Parade t-shirts, the student-musicians did a phenomenal job and represented their schools and District 45 so well. The Lilac Parade is an annual Lombard tradition since 1929 and marks the conclusion of the village’s annual Lilac Time festival. Thank you to our band directors, Ms. Chris Wallbruch and Mr. Joe Koppel, and our cheer team coaches Estelle Tarrant, Everitt O’Neal, Sarah Giordano, and Shane Brown. Great job, Wildcats and Jaguars!
