On September 14, D45 families and friends gathered for Frida Fest at Jefferson Middle School. Families enjoyed snacks, raffles, art activities, and access to community resources, with entertainment featuring traditional and contemporary dance. An optional workshop for parents titled “Spending Time Together” was also a part of the festivities and taught participants time management skills to optimize family time.
