The week of April 29 was Multicultural Week for the Ardmore Eagles! During this week, Ardmore students spent Multicultural Week engaged in various activities designed to elevate their understanding of the world around them, including activities in PE, Music, Art and the LRC. The week concluded with Multicultural Day on May 3, with interactive presentations by families to share their culture with our Eagles.
Parent volunteers set up table stations around the gym with the help and support of Ardmore’s multilingual learning community. Parents shared their culture with students, and at each station visited, students could have a special passport stamped. Parents shared items representing their countries of origin, such as photos, artifacts, books, clothing, musical instruments, food, and more.
Multicultural Week activities are the product of work from Ardmore’s Multicultural Team and represent a blend of home and school connections that truly enhance learning for all students. Thank you to our Ardmore staff and parent volunteers for creating a unique learning experience for our students. Great job, Eagles!
