District 45 families are invited to attend the Frida Community Organization’s Frida Fest celebration on Saturday, September 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tri-Town YMCA at 136 S. Cornell Ave, Villa Park. Families will enjoy:

• Free lunch

• Raffles

• Art and sports activities

• Access to community resources, including free on-site vaccinations

The celebration will also feature an entertainment lineup of traditional and contemporary dance groups and live musical performances, including La Zafra Steel Drum Band, with our very own Jefferson Middle School Principal, Raul Gaston, performing as part of the ensemble.
